Today, Sony initiated an exchange program for certain AC power adapters that may fail during use. The AC adapter model VGP-AC19V17 was supplied with the following all-in-one desktop computer systems sold after September 2007:
- All VGC-LT series computer
- VGC-JS240, VGC-JS250, VGC-JS270, and VGC-JS290 model computers
The following notebook computer docking stations sold after September 2005:
- VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1
