If you've been watching @SonyElectronics on Twitter or keeping an eye on our Facebook page, you know we've been leading up to something big. I'm in New York City tonight with a team of folks from Sony to celebrate the launch of three new VAIO products the L Touch HD, X Series and CW Series. What makes this launch even bigger is that the new VAIO models are paired with the latest from Microsoft Windows 7.
This place is packed and guests are getting a first look at all the new VAIO models –Sony VAIO's community blogger, Michael has the inside details about what makes the new VAIO's first class.
To go along with the announcement the crowd is being entertained by some pretty outrageous performance artists. Cirque Berzerk (think Circ de Soliel but darker) is performing and balancing the VAIOs as part of their act. Tatoo artist Thomas Pendleton of A&E's "Tattoo Highway" is inking a VAIO-inspired design on someone! And it didn't stop there. Zulu Kingz graffiti artist, Damet, is creating a live mural alongside the new CW-Series notebooks inspired by the CW's five bold new colors.
